Newcastle United v Sunderland (Premier League)

Coverage of the Premier League match from St James' Park. Nick Woltemade scored a 46th-minute own goal to give Sunderland a memorable 1-0 victory in the reverse fixture. That loss meant that the Magpies had only won one of their last 11 meetings against their bitter rivals, a run stretching all the way back to August 2011. Their only win in that run came in the FA Cup in January 2024 when they won 3-0 at the Stadium of Light.

Morgan Rogers scored a 79th-minute winner in the reverse fixture to earn Villa a 3-2 victory at the London Stadium, as they came from behind twice to earn themselves the three points. Mateus Fernandes and Jarrod Bowen had given West Ham the lead twice but ultimately gave the game away in the second half as Rogers scored twice in less than half an hour to make it 3-2.

2026 Premier League Darts (Darts)

Last year saw the likes of Stephen Bunting, Luke Humphries, Chris Dobey and Gerwyn Price make it through to the semi-finals. Bunting beat fellow Englishman Humphries 6-2 to progress to the final against Price, who beat Chris Dobey in the other semi-final by the same scoreline. Stephen Bunting ending up winning the night after he beat Price 6-5 in a thrilling final.
